My Pig
Our class is learning about the alphabet, the sounds the letters make, and the sight words: see, said, so, my, me, make. The Letter of the Week is "M". We'll march like "many merry monkeys, make monkey masks, create a pig craft for our color of the week (PINK), use M&M's for estimation and graphing, sort marbles, count monkeys and cowboys, read all about "Today is Monday", and explore the world of baby animals and their mothers. We'll also write a class book: My Mommy. There are new centers to enjoy this week, and we have a math project surprise that involves counting marshmallows. Kindergarten is fun!
