Schedule for the last week of school

5/18 Monday

Game Day: Please bring in your favorite board 

game to share.  Make sure you are able to tell your friends how 

to play your game.


5/19 Tuesday
Mystery Summer Bag: Put something that will 
represent what you will do over the summer in your bag and 
be able to describe it toy our friends. Students will guess what 
is in the bag by the clues they 
are given.

5/20 Wednesday
Scrub-a-Dub Day: We will start cleaning your desks out. 
Please bring a small, old towel, clorox wipes or shaving cream 
to help get the cleaning party started.

5/21 Thursday
Reading Tent Day: Bring a beach towel, flashlight, books 
and popcorn as we will be camping out in our classroom with 
great books!

5/22 Friday
Ice Cream Social: You can bring your favorite topping, 
whipped cream or favorite ice cream to share!!! LAST DAY 
OF SCHOOL!!!!

Field Day and Reading Celebration

Our reading celebration will be this Thursday, May 7th from 8:20-9:20. be sure to sign the permission slip for your child to participate on the inflatable.  If you don't sign, your child will participate in everything but the inflatable.  


Our field day will be the same day (Thursday) and will be set up in two sections.  Part 1 will be from 10:40-11:40.  Our lunch schedule has also changed for this day and will be at 12:02-12:32  and at table 11.  Part 2 will continue in the afternoon from 12:30-2:00.

Due to field day for other grade levels on Friday, our lunch schedule will also change this Friday. Students will eat at 11:56-12:26 and will eat at tables 7 & 8.

Week of May 4th

-place value and weight
-composing and decomposing numbers to 18
-graphing showing tallies, pictures and bar graphs

-review math skills from beginning of the year

Volunteer Brunch 4/15

Volunteers/Parents come join us at the school from 7:30-9:00 a.m. as we give our thanks for your helpfulness and generosity.  Yummy food and drinks will be provided and it's a great time to socialize.  You are greatly appreciated for all of your kindness and contributions throughout the year.  This is our way of giving back to you!!!  ENJOY!!!
