Summer News
The HVAC and fire system replacement project was started on May 29 and is well under way at Keheley! Cobb County voters approved the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax 3 (SPLOST 3) last fall, and it is these funds that are allowing this project to be done for Keheley this summer. As you can see from the pictures below, the ceilings in some areas have been removed to allow the installation of new ducts and a new fire alarm system.
While construction is taking place at Keheley, our administrative offices are located at Garrison Mill Elementary School, 4111 Wesley Chapel Road. Our office hours are 8:00 -- 3:00, Monday through Thursday. All Cobb schools are closed on Friday's throughout the summer. Keheley's phone line, 678-494-7836, rings at our office at Garrison Mill, so please continue to call us if you have questions or need assistance. Report cards and CRCT scores have been mailed to parents. If you need to pay for lost books, ASP or pictures, please come to Garrison Mill to remit your payment and pick up report cards.
On July 21, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, we will have new student registration in Keheley's gym. This registration is for students new to Keheley at any grade level, K - 5. Kindergarten teachers will also be conducting admission screening assessments by appointment for new Kindergarten students at Keheley on July 21 and 22. If you have a new Kindergarten student and need to schedule a time for screening, please call the office and we will help you make an appointment.
We look forward to seeing all our Keheley students and parents at Sneak a Peek on Friday morning, August 7, 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM. Bus routes with pick up times, teacher assignments and classrooms, and other important information will be available for all grade levels. The first day of school is Monday, August 10.
